We have a few days off between our northern Ontario tour and the shows that we’re going to do out west. I am now with a group of friends at, ‘miman’ Alyosha’s apartment in the Plateau area of Montreal. We’re watching the figure skating portion of the Olympics, and of course, somedramaticalyarranged neo-classical (avec rock guitar) is blaring over the loud speakers in whatever Vancouver arena. Watching these amazing athletesexecute bi-zillion-Salchows, toe loop jumps, and lutz jumps. Mind you, this is all in waiting for the next hockey game’ mind you.

The venues in the nord d’Ontario were ‘theatres’ for the most part. Huntsville (just north of Toronto), Blind River (a good ways north of that) and Geraldton (about 60mi south fromthe furthest north you’re able to drive in Ontario).
