Hey everyone,

We are very pleased to present the first single off the new record titled “Mermaid Town.” The song is about a guy who is looking back on better days with his former love, and is hopeful that he will return to where he was truly living life to the fullest.

The experience of shooting this video was certainly different than our last. We used stop motion animation in the “underwater” scenes to create a unique effect on film. Though it did require us spending a considerable amount of time laying on the floor on our underwater set to get it to look just right, it was definitely worth it. Be sure to keep an eye out on CMT USA and Canada for the video, and don’t hesitate to watch it online at YouTube or CMT.com!

The pictures submitted will be reviewed and if your photo gets selected you’ll be a part of the official “Seventeen” music video/photomontage. So even if you graduated years ago, don’t be shy!
